President's Message

Fiji US Sports & Social Association (FUSSA) was established in the San Francisco area in 2002. It was a hard work of a group of devoted soccer enthusiasts who started the organization with eight teams.
The purpose of Fiji US Sports & Social Association is to develop, promote and administer the game of soccer and to Create, Develop and grow the best sanctioned organization to foster the growth and development of club soccer programs within the Fiji community throughout the United States as a complete entity.
In addition, given the myriad of rules and restrictions and the often times confusing nature of soccer governance, FUSSA organization plays an important role in assisting member clubs with local soccer matters, both in clarifying rules, and defining rights and responsibilities.
FUSSA's vision is to provide world class soccer programs that will enrich the lives of soccer lovers in the Fiji community.
FUSSA is a California Soccer Association North (CSAN) and FIFA approved organization with a mission to develop and deliver quality soccer programs that will promote fun, family based environment with the following philosophy:

" Good Sportsmanship
" Player Development

Through the years, FUSSA has established and maintained relationship with organization such as North American Fiji Sports Association (NAFSA) and Fiji American National Association (FANA).
FUSSA's mission is also to foster the physical, mental and emotional growth and development of youths in our community through the sport of soccer at all levels of age and competition. Our job is also to make it fun, and instill in young players a lifelong passion for the sport.

The other objective of the organization is to establish an All-Star team to compete in professional level domestically and abroad giving exposure and motivation to players of the Fiji community.
We are grateful to our sponsors who help fund events and activities of our organization. Fiji US Sports & Social Association is a non-profit organization and it values its sponsors, contributors, participants and enthusiasm for the game.

FUSSA has been the leader in establishing groundbreaking soccer programs for the Fiji community in the United States. The organization is proud to have paved the road for soccer lovers in our community and looks forward to meeting the challenges in the 21st century.
